WELCOME
The Kazakh Scientific Center of Quarantine and Zoonotic Diseases named after Masgut Aikimbaev (KSCQZD), Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan, is a leading scientific institution that performs research on the distribution, prophylaxis and prevention of quarantine and zoonotic infections, produces medical immunobiological preparations and trains specialists from countries in Central Asia and the Caucasus in especially dangerous diseases.
The KSCQZD is also a regional training centre for biosafety and biosecurity and is the secretariat to the newly formed Biosafety Association for Central Asia and Caucasus.
